Our History

FR&P represents a new chapter in the development of the Firm VEF, which was founded by Vittorio Emanuele Falsitta in Milan in 1997 and was later also active in Rome and Ancona.

In 2025, with the joining of Ernesto Maria Ruffini - who returned to the legal profession after his experience at the top of the Financial Administration between 2015 and 2024 - of Daniela Delfrate and new professionals, the Firm inaugurated a phase of renewal, growth and spreading in the country, also with the opening of new offices in Cagliari, Naples and Palermo.

Since its inception, the Firm has set itself apart for its strong focus on research, which is indispensable for the application of all the rights provided for by the tax system and for the development of the most innovative ones introduced by the legislator, in the continuous improvement of the service offered to its Clients.

1997

The Vittorio Emanuele Falsitta & Associates Law Firm is Born

At the initiative of Vittorio Emanuele Falsitta and a select group of professionals, the Firm was born, appreciated from the outset for its strategy and approach, irreducible, to the protection of its Clients.

1998

Legal Culture and Dissemination

The Firm promotes the publication of “Massimario delle Commissioni Tributarie Milanesi”. He also began collaborating with “Dizionario Bibliografico delle Riviste Giuridiche Italiane”.

2000

Growth and Expansion

With major successes in complex court cases, the Firm expands its expertise and acquires new talent, consolidating its reputation nationwide.

2001

Political and Legislative Commitment

Vittorio Emanuele Falsitta enriches his professional career with a parliamentary experience during which he was rapporteur of important measures and inspirer of relevant tax bills.

2006

Scientific Insight

Scientific research activities, which are essential for professional excellence, are strengthened.

2013

Constructive Dialogue with Tax Authorities

The Firm is actively involved in the Voluntary Disclosure legislation for the regularisation of assets held abroad.

2017

The “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's" Conference

The Firm works with the Research Centre on Ethical Taxation of the European University of Rome to organise a major conference on the ethical aspects of taxation.

2018

New Offices in Milan and Rome

The Firm moves to a prestigious building designed by Vico Magistretti at Via Meravigli in Milan and opens an office in Rome at Palazzo Borghese.

2019

Strategic Partnerships

VEF consolidates major partnerships with large national groups, facing new challenges of dimensional growth without giving up its distinctive method.

2021

The Joint-Stock Company is Born

VEF & Partners S.p.a, professional partnership of lawyers, is established, strengthening the partnership with GKSD Investment Holding.

2022

Pioneering Cryptocurrency Voluntary Disclosure

VEF&P successfully implements the first Voluntary Disclosure on cryptocurrencies, confirming the innovative spirit of its origins.

2023

New Headquarters in Ancona and New Offices in Rome

National expansion continues with the opening of the Ancona headquarters. In Rome, VEF&P moves to the spacious premises of Palazzo Grimaldi Lazzaroni at Via dei Lucchesi.

2025

The Firm Evolves into FalsittaRuffini & Partners and is Strengthened

With the arrival of Ernesto Maria Ruffini and Daniela Delfrate, the Firm is renewed and expands to meet the challenges of the contemporary world.
